Management decision: Increase of the number of phytoplankton samples in the harbours and sorrounding open waters. Increase of the surveillance in the harbours affected to prevent the illegal extraction of mussels.
Additional harmful effect information: Toxicity not analyzed this year inside the harbour. This year, this species has been detected in other monitoring stations as Coma-ruga, Vilanova, Garraf, P. Olimpic and Arenys harbours, and Castelldefels beach.
