Growth Comments It is suggested that G. catenatum in this season is introduced into the rias when upwelling ceases and offshore surface waters are pushed onshore by the southerly winds.
Additional Environmental information: At the beginning of the season the stratification varied depending on upwelling pulses. The water column was almost isothermal since the second half of October.
