Additional information: The bloom started in Astadfjorden in Troms 14-18. may,the first report of mortality was in Ofotfjorden 14 th of May. The 21 th there was reported mortality in the outer part of Ofotfjorden and Rinøya.From the 21. may the bloom spread to Øksfjord and Hamarøy. 21-30. may the mortality decreased.
Economic losses: Farmed salmon-4,2 and 4 millions individuals.
Management decision: increased focus on monitoring, new equipment and reasearch.
