Additional information: The paralytic shellfish toxin levels in the Washington clam were siphon assayd 120 µg/100 g, the viscera 54 µg in April; during July PSP levels increased to 200 µg in the siphon and 150 µg in the viscera; toxin levels in November were 120 µg in siphon and 100 µg in viscera. No samples had been submitted during the rest of the time.

Management decision: The California Annual Quarantine was extended to inclurde the Washington clam even beyond the normal Quarantine period.
