Getting Started: Login & Security
Access to the data entry and reporting features of HAEDAT is restricted to authorized National Editors and Focal Points. The system uses a secure, passwordless authentication flow via your registered email address.
The Login Process
Step 1: Initiate Login
- Navigate to the Login Page.
- Enter your registered email address in the field provided.
- Click Send Code.

Step 2: Receive Your Code
The system will immediately generate a unique 6-digit verification code and send it to your inbox.
- Subject: Your HAEDAT Login Code
- Sender: noreply@haedat.org
- Validity: The code is valid for 10 minutes. If you do not enter it within this window, you must restart the process.
Step 3: Verification
- Check your email for the code.
- Return to the HAEDAT site, where you will see the Verify Code screen.
- Enter the 6 digits and click Login.

Troubleshooting
I didn't receive an email
- Check Spam/Junk: Automated emails are sometimes flagged by institutional mail servers.
- Verify Email: Ensure you are using the exact email address registered with the IOC HAB office.
- Wait a moment: Institutional filters can sometimes delay delivery by 1-2 minutes.
My code is "Invalid or Expired"
- This usually occurs if the 10-minute window has passed.
- Return to the Login Page to request a fresh code.
The User Dashboard
Once successfully logged in, you will be redirected to your User Dashboard. This is your private command center where you can:
- Manage Drafts: Work on event reports before they go public.
- View Published Events: Monitor your country's live records.
- National Reporting: Access the annual summary matrix to confirm your country's yearly status.
