Economic losses: Recreational shellfish harvests were closed in Grays Harbor and Willapa Bays for PSP and DSP respectively, and recreational and commercial razor clam harvests were interrupted by domoic acid closures, causing large cultural and economic losses to WA.
Management decision: WADOH closed shellfish harvesting at impacted areas to protect public health.
