Additional location information: 10 Km off Noordwijk. The bloom was detected in week 30, moving north with the residual current. The bloom reached the Marsdiep, the southernmost inlet of the Wadden Sea (600 cell/L) in week 32, and subsequently, increased cell counts (40-70 cell/L) were reported in one station in the Wadden Sea.
