A number of shellfish harvesting areas in the Southwestern Bay of Fundy were closed to harvesting for a shorth period during the summer due to levels of PSP exceeding the regulatory limit of 80 痢/100g. Areas affected include sites at Grand Manan Island,

A lower number than normal of shellfish harvesting areas were closed to harvesting for short period of time between late June and Mid August.
